I truly love being an Akashic Records channel, as well as an energy worker - and maybe you even had a chance to read more about how I started reading the Records, and how I work with the Records here. All of my life experiences and influences give me a unique perspective as an Akashic Records channel. I’ve sat in my Records with my guides and been clear - if I was going to read for others, those readings needed to include practical tools, suggestions, and guidance for folks. In my sessions, clients learn about their future possibilities, dig deeper into understanding their hearts’ desires now, and get to walk away with concrete, practical, and incremental steps to move them forward and closer to their dreams. And it all gets to feel fun and joyous along the way!

I’m a magical person and a witch. More and more folks today are reclaiming and loudly identifying as a witch, which I’m so here for. And oftentimes, to identify as a witch means something different for different people, so if you’re interested in learning more about why I came out of the broom closet, here’s a quick blog post to check out!

I’m also a big nature lover and herbalist. I spent two years studying as an apprentice through the School of the Sacred Wild (run by the magical and brilliant Marysia Miernowska) and finding herbalism and plant medicine continue to be immensely healing to my body, heart, and soul. I’ve been able to not only learn about different medicinal, spiritual, and emotional properties of plants to work with to improve my overall physical, mental, and emotional well-being, but I’ve found so much joy in learning from the Earth in ways I never had before. From listening and learning from the plants, trees, and land I reside on (land of the Snohomish, Stillaguamish, Tulalip, and Coast Salish peoples). To seeing myself reflected back in the nature and the changing seasons. To understanding that to be human and in a physical body means to be of and part of the Earth and Her cycles - not separate from or disconnected to Her. And I know what I only recently learned and experienced is a very, very small fraction of what indigenous communities and nations have always known, lived by, and fiercely protected for as long as they’ve existed - and it’s impacted me to my core being.

I previously had a near-decade career working for the federal government. The work I did was primarily focussed on advocating for and creating more gender inclusive and equitable foreign policy globally, through gender-based violence advocacy, global health/HIV epidemic control and prevention, and advancing girls’ education through international development. I have a Masters degree, two Bachelor degrees, and was the first person in my immediate family to graduate from a four-year college. I grew up in Michigan and previously lived in different parts of Europe, Washington, DC, eastern Africa, and more recently, the Pacific Northwest.

I also move through life with loss, like we all do. While I have many loved ones in spirit, my biggest loss so far was my dad passing away when I was 32 years old. He was one of my favorite people in the world. I now know what it’s like to move through life with grief and heartbreak. And…I also know what it’s like to find clarity, healing, and peace through grief (and that’s not to say anyone else will or “should” on their own journey). I hope to start holding more space and teaching about what most helped me not only feel seen and witnessed in my griefiest moments, but also what helped me start to move forward toward a life that’s so much more fulfilling and joyful in lots of ways, than before.
